Pausing Winter

With temperatures in the 70's at the midpoint of February, I'm mentally saying good-bye to winter as I scout for clues spring is truly on the way. With bulbs sprouting in three different flower gardens, woolly worms on the bike path, and canvasback ducks making an appearance in the neighborhood pond, nature could easily convince me not to look back. I added some water in the front yard bird bath. Now if only the kestrel would stop targeting the sparrows at my new feeder outside my writing station, I could cut the drama and concentrate on a warmer, friendlier season. A special note, Book 4 in the Landscapes of Mercy series is now available in print version on Amazon.
